Way Kambas National Park : Birth of New Generation of Sumatran Rhinos


Located at the southern tip of Sumatra Island, Way Kambas is well known for its school for elephants, the first ever in Indonesia. The National Park covers coastal forest along the Way Kambas River at the east coast of Lampung almost 110 km from Bandar Lampung, the capital city of Lampung Province.

Harau Canyon : Earth Wall Within Outstanding Scenery



Harau Canyon consisted of steep boulder granites that separated a hilly area with prosperous plain underneath, added up with a waterfall about 150 meters down. This beautiful panorama is included into a nature park about 270 hectares width and became home for some wild creature such as tapirus indicus, gibbons, wild boards and sumatran tiger. Granite cliffs of Harau Valley measured 80 to 300 meters, standing tall nearly 90 degrees in elevation that created a deep canyon complimented by fresh air.

Offshore Padang and Mentawai : Underwater Paradise on the Coast of West Sumatra



Sharing borders with the Indian Ocean, the area locally known synonymous with the Malin Kundang legend, prides its underwater stage. On the coast of Air Manis lies a stone believed to be the remain of ungrateful son Malin Kundang who was cursed by his mother. Although having abundant dive sites and island beauties, Padang is more famous for its beaches, swimming and fishing attractions, as well as the ubiquitous Padang restaurant across the archipelago.
